How to get free, impartial and confidential advice

Get Advice

If you live or work within the postcode areas of G1 to G15 and need advice, information or guidance, Drumchapel Citizens Advice Bureau is here to help.

Our main office is open Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm. You can access advice in person, by telephone, email, webchat or video call. We also provide advice from a range of outreach locations.

Our service is busy and there may be times when it takes us longer to respond. If you are eligible for one of our outreach or specialist services below, please consider using that route.

Telephone

You can contact us on 0141 944 2612. Our main telephone number operates as a voicemail service, so please leave a message with your contact details and a brief description of what you need help with.

A member of our team will call you back within 24 hours. Please note that our return call will normally come from a withheld number, so please answer withheld or private-number calls if you are expecting us to contact you.

Email advice

You can email us at bureau@drumchapelcab.casonline.org.uk. Please include as much information as possible about your issue, what has happened so far and what outcome you are looking for. It is also helpful to tell us about your circumstances so that we can consider your situation as a whole.

Webchat and video advice

Our webchat is available each working day. We can also offer video-call appointments where this is a more accessible or appropriate way for you to receive advice.

Outreach services

We provide advice from a number of community locations. Some of these services are available by referral or have specific eligibility criteria, so please do not attend an outreach location unless you have an appointment or have been referred.

GP and health services

If you are a patient at one of the following practices, please contact your surgery or healthcare professional for referral to our dedicated NHS advice service:

Dr Gavin & Nimmo

Dr Logan & MacDonald

Garscadden Burn Medical Practice

Kingsway Medical Practice

We also provide an advice service at the Brownlee Centre, Gartnavel Hospital, which is accessed through referral by a healthcare professional.

Housing Association outreach

If you are a tenant of one of the following housing organisations, please contact your housing provider about access to our outreach advice service:

Pineview

Kingsridge Cleddans

Drumchapel Housing Co-operative

These outreach services are normally accessed through referral from the housing provider.

Wheatley – My Great Start

We provide a city-wide advice service for Wheatley tenants within the first six months of their tenancy. Access to My Great Start is through referral from Wheatley.

Glasgow North West Foodbank – Knightswood

We provide an outreach advice service for people accessing Glasgow North West Foodbank in Knightswood. If you are using the foodbank, you can speak to the foodbank team about accessing our advice service.

You can still use our main service

You do not need to be a patient or tenant of one of our partner organisations to access Drumchapel Citizens Advice Bureau.

If none of the outreach services above apply to you, you can still contact or visit our main Drumchapel office for general advice. Our main service is available to people who live or work within the G1–G15 postcode areas.
